Description:
Two big
challenges in evaluating dual language learners with reading disorders are
determining (1) the best testing tools and (2) the language for assessment.
This webinar will explore specific components of a reading assessment for
English-Spanish bilinguals and share interventions that can facilitate reading
across languages. While the course will focus primarily on Spanish and English
learners, the speaker will include examples from other languages and the types
of reading difficulties that students experience.
