Speech and language skills are essential for literacy development. Structured Literacy is a comprehensive approach to literacy that is based upon language skills. This session explores the components of the Structured Literacy approach and discusses how SLPs can enhance students’ success not only in language but also in literacy using this approach. The speaker demonstrates model lessons and shares a framework for intervention.
